The following are some of the positives and negatives of Citizen's eco drive watch.
Positives:
The Citizen men's BM8180-03E eco drive canvas strap watch is one of the more popular products available in the market today. The following are some reasons why.
1. Looks:
The first thing that hits most people about a watch is the way it looks. This watch has a very militaristic and strong look to it. The reason for this is the simple round dial with large numbers on it and the greenish canvas strap.
The Citizen Men's BM8180-03E Eco-Drive Canvas Strap Watch is currently on sale on Amazon for 40% off through this link right here.
2. Solar powered:
The current scenario in the world is such that each and every person and organization is extremely concerned about energy and environment. This prevalent scenario really makes this watch perfect for most people because it carries batteries that get charged through solar power. The watch has a solar cell that stores the solar energy in a manganese titanium battery that is extremely long lived. As per the manufacturers of this watch, the batteries of this watch will maintain at least 80 percent of their efficiency even after 20 years of consistent use.
3. Accuracy:
The accuracy of the Citizen men's BM8180-03E eco drive canvas strap watch is unbelievable, and there have been reports of the time only lagging by less than one second after a month's use.
4. Warranty:
The Citizen made eco drive watch carries with it five years of warranty for movement only which is also a significant advantage.
5. Resistance:
Another aspect of the Citizen men's BM8180-03E eco drive canvas strap watch is the fact that it is both water and scratch resistant.
6. Worth:
The Citizen men's BM8180-03E eco drive canvas strap watch is well worth the amount that you would be paying to purchase it, because it combines reliability, accuracy and beauty in one go.

Negatives:
Like everything else in the world, this watch also has a dark side to it. However, there is only one issue with this watch and that is its canvas strap. Different people have had different types of problems with the canvas strap. The following are some details.
1. Look:
The look that the canvas strap gives to the watch has been questioned by many. Most of these doubts have been voiced with respect to the relevance of an oily, olive green canvas strap to fashion or style.
2. Fit:
The fit of the strap has also been brought up by many users with the opinion being that the strap suits smaller or thinner wrists more.
3. Functionality:
The functionality of the strap is another aspect that is in doubt because of the fact that it can absorb sweat and water and end up smelling.
Let me show you what current owners have to say about this watch.
Rocket_Man321,
Why I Love This Watch,
There are so many good reviews already for this watch, but I've been so pleased that I had to add my own. I bought this after I accidentally dropped my Seiko diving watch on the floor and broke it. I've had mine for a week now, and it's become my all-time favorite. Here's why:
-Regular quartz watches require battery changes, and automatics/winding watches go dead after a few days in the drawer. Not this one.
-I've grown tired of the look of my big chunky diver-style watches. Nothing against them, but I was ready for something simple, classic, understated, masculine, functional, and beautiful. This fit the bill.
-I changed out the band with a black Nato by Maratac. I do that with almost all of my watches, and I really love how it looks now. Already getting compliments after one week.
-The luminosity at night is not as good as my Seiko divers, but it's still sufficient. Can't complain.
-Day/date setting instructions were simple, if you follow the directions.
-Keeps fantastically accurate time. I'm used to my automatic watches which are always gaining time and require lots of resetting as the weeks go by. Not this one. After one week, it hasn't gained/lost a second!
-Not too big, not too small. I'm 6'4" with average sized wrists. Perfect fit.
-The seconds hand lines up perfectly, and the watch runs silently.
-It's waterproof.
-I've found that products on Amazon with hundreds of reviews and 4.5 or 5 stars turn out to be fantastic products and good values. My thesis has been proven again.
